I've been involved with woodworking through the years in one capacity or another since I was 8 years old. I was raised by a father who was very frugal. "Use it up, wear it out, make it due, or do without" is what he used to always say. As a result of this mindset, he taught me early how to sharpen saw blades so that I could "wear it out."<br /><br />Not all <a href="http://www.woodshopbits.com/timberwolf-band-saw-blades-s/300.htm">saw blades</a> are created equal. I've found that after years of sharpening blades on home made blade sharpeners, one blade has emerged that outlasts and outperforms all other blades. Timberwolf saw blades! I do have to sharpen them, but the intervals are much more infrequent than any other blade out there.&nbsp;
