In a nutshell, Qwirkle is a board game that is recommended for 2 to 4 players age 6 and up and has the feel of several different classic board games (Othello, Scrabble, Sequence and Dominoes) all rolled into one easy to follow game.

It is one of those games that will cause players to think and form various strategize their way to victory!

This game is based on a points system. The person with the highest points at the end is the winner. Points are earned by placing tiles of the same shape and/or color in a row in a strategic way that will get you the most points.

There are 108 colored tiles (pieces) in this game. They are made of wood and are very sturdy, and durable. They come in a drawstring bag that is used to both store them as well as to use during game play.

What Do I Think About This Game?

Personally, this is one of my favorite games! It is easy enough for kids while still being fun for adults. I have always enjoyed strategy games that are easy to learn and this game falls perfectly into this category.

When we have family game night, my kids usually choose this game. When I have adult friends over, this makes a great game to play while we just sit around and talk.

As long as none of the pieces get lost, I think this one will be a favorite in my household for quite a while to come.
