A Cruise Of Joy – Fine Dining Cruises in Sydney

I have not stopped talking about my Sydney Harbour dinner cruise experience since I got off from the wonderful glass boat by Clearview Cruises yesterday. I can’t find words to depict my joy nor my eagerness to get back on it. In short I would say that it was a day well spent.

Clearview Cruises was recommended by many but I opted to wait till Christmas season to experience it. I turned lucky as one of my colleagues hosted a Christmas Party on board Clearview glass boat dinner cruise at the same time.

We kick-started our night of merrymaking as we boarded the cruise by 7:45pm from King Street Wharf. The vibes of Christmas were already evident in the bow of the cruise as well as in the attitude of the passengers. The luxury glass boat reigned over the harbour like the king of cruises, revealing all its elegance and sleek design.

We were welcomed on board by the friendly cruise director who guided us to the Sky Deck alongside a well-organized dining saloon, all the while talking about the cruise agenda. With the cruise departing from the harbour by 8:00pm, we were surrounded by the soothing sound of hull cutting through the still water. The vessel created different patterns when it hovered upon the colourful water adorned by the reflection of sumptuous harbour lights.

During the first hour we were treated with delicious canapés and drinks at the apical part of the vessel. The open Sky Deck offered us ringside seats for taking picture-perfect group images and selfies with world-famous structures like the Harbour Bridge & Opera House in the background.

We took in the sights and sounds from the open deck before moving down to the all-glass dining deck and hello… we were surprised by the 360° views we got from there too! We were awed and really appreciated the artistic brilliance of the top to bottom glass interiors around the deck, all throughout our dining experience.

The three-course seated-and-served menu was all about a premium culinary experience, similar to that of any high-end restaurant in Sydney. Right from the Christmas special entrée to the courses that followed, our taste buds were rejuvenated with the right combination of dishes sourced out from the freshest ingredients. Add to it the selection of quality wines and beers offered with the package and it couldn’t have been any better.

What impressed us most about our party night on board Clearview was that the space was well managed and there was never a moment where we felt huddled. The dining arrangement and experienced crew contributed to enhance the premium feel that goes with this cruise. It was evident that the crew was amiable and worked hard for providing the passengers with a wonderful cruising experience. We further hit the jackpot as we were able to avail early bird offers and hence received a considerable discount. All together, we found that this dining experience outshined one at a high-end restaurant anyday!

So all-in-all it will suffice to say that there’s no better way to celebrate the season of merrymaking other than a Clearview cruise that takes you along the backdrops of the biggest natural harbour in the world. Post my wonderful glass boat dinner cruise experience, I would highly recommend it to one and all
