I mean seriously folks… it’s melted chocolate!
How easy (any yummy) can it get?

Ok, Ok… so you want an actual fondue recipe for that first time round.

No problem and to tell you the truth there are some things you need to know about melting chocolate.

So without further ado, here is one of the most basic chocolate fondue recipes I know of. But don’t turn your nose up at it because it’s easy. Simple is often delicious and this is the recipe we use around our house most of the time.

Ingredients…

    One bag of chocolate chips, milk chocolate, semi-sweet or dark
    1/2 to 3/4 cup milk
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Pour all ingredients into a microwavable bowl and heat on medium setting until chocolate is melted. Pull it out and stir it at least half way thru. (Total cook time will be about 2 minutes)

Stir until smooth. Heat a little more if necessary but be careful not to burn it.

Serve immediately!

Chocolate Fondue Dipping Ideas!

Ok we all know that half the fun of fondue is finding fun things to dip into the molten magical sauce!

Of course fingers usually are the first thing that comes to mind, at least with my kids. Just TRY to keep their little fingers out of the chocolate!

But most folks want more from their fondue than licking chocolate off of sticky finger so here are some ideas of what to skewer and dip into your luscious molten chocolate!
