The Dream
All things begin with a dream. The same is true for your career, it began a long time ago. Maybe like my children you’re goal began in childhood. It may have been to be a lawyer, veterinarian, medical doctor or maybe it was to be a stay-at-home mom and take care of your home, and do the most important of jobs and that is to take care of your children.
If you did the last, you’re paying for things in a different way. For example, you may not have that beautiful car that cost as much as many homes or you may not get that extra special home or vacation that you always dreamed of. At least not for a season, and that’s how you pay. On the other hand, if you’re going to a university and working on a degree, you may be paying in a completely different way. You may be eating noodles for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Or maybe you’re working 2 jobs in addition to going to school full time.
Perhaps you chose another way to get through school so that you could concentrate on your studies and you chose to take out student loans. This is usually the case for those that did advanced degrees, such as medicine. It is often the case for those doing undergraduate studies. When you decided to take out the loans, it seemed like a good idea. I know for me, I was working full time, going to school full time and had children. The only way that I could keep a roof over our heads was to take out student loans. Now with interest I owe a truck load enough in fact that I could buy a home for what I owe in a small town.

Student Loans
Now you have your student loans and you’re able to finish school. After all you did need the money, so you did what you needed to do in order to get that degree in your hand. So now what?
Well depending on the type of loan that you got, you will have to start paying it back when you’re out of school. It sounds so good doesn’t eat, to be able to eat while going to school, until you get that first bill in the mail and now you have a 200 or 1800.00 student loan bill. You didn’t know that it would be that high, that was something that they conveniently didn’t tell you. And like most students, you never thought to ask. After all ignorance is often a good thing. But now that the bankers at your doorstep, it’s not such a good thing.
Now you’re again looking at noodles for breakfast, lunch and dinner and it’s not just you. You now have a family to support and they’re needing to eat as well. So what do you do? Do you take on that 2nd and 3rd job? That doesn’t seem like a good alternative, after all then you wont see your family. So what do you do?
