I don’t know if you’re like me but my dad never taught me home improvement skills so when I got married I had no clue!
Guess what comes with owning a home? Things wear down and things break! Sometimes four things will break in one day! I remember one day when that happened to me and I just had to start learning on my own.
I went onto YouTube and found some great “How To” videos and I fixed the dishwasher, toilet, sink and other plumbing. There actually is quite a sense of accomplishment.
Now, one thing I wish I had before I started all this was a nice comprehensive list of the best classic home improvement products. I’m sorry but even the experts at the major hardware stores don’t really have any answers for you as to what the best basic items are. There is always an upsell or they just don’t know.
