The 2 main cons I have come across are that 1) it’s heavy – but all cast iron cookware is heavy because, well, it’s made out of CAST IRON  =)

The other “con” is that you have to be careful how you clean it.  This is true of all seasoned cast iron cookware.  No dishwasher, no steel wool or scrubbing – just rinse it out with warm soapy water.  Keeping it seasoned is important and the more you cook with it and clean it properly, the better it gets.
