A garden patch isn’t limited to the spring and summer months. We often think that this is the case, but in reality, it’s not. Not too long ago, I found something that would allow me to do my gardening, no matter the weather or the time of year.
The little thing was from a company called A Garden Patch. I love the name: it’s perfect for this product. It reminds you that you don’t need a large area in order to have a garden, just a small “patch”. It’s the same principle of the phrase “a little dab will do you.” But in this case, a little box will do you. It’s just the right amount for the gardening that you want done in the fall and winter.
When you want to have a garden all year around...
a grow box is just the right way!
Fall And Winter
The nice thing about grow boxes is there’s little limitation on when you can use them, or for that matter how you can use them. The winter is a wonderful time to use them because of the fact that there’s still life growing, maturing and you being able to get your fresh veggies. It’s not hard, at least not the ones that come from a garden patch. They’re self watering, soils included and you get the box to. The only thing that you have to do yourself is by the seeds that you want to use. I wish they would include a selection, a kind of one stop shopping, but they don’t.
What this does is allow for everything to be included in the kit, expect that which you need to have as a personal choice. That makes things simple and easy, and it allows for you to not have to worry about what’s going to work and what’s not.
There's nothing better than
fresh roasted veggies in the winter.
Fall And Winter Planting
Like with the spring, fall planting will reap a winter harvest, and that’s really what you’re after. The reason is clear, you want to have the freshest fruits and veggies that you can possible have in the middle of the winter. That way you’ll be able to have fresh vitamins and minerals. It will give your health just the boost that it needs when it needs it. I know that there’s packaged vegetables, I know that there’s packaged fruits, but I also know that having them fresh is better for everyone.
Yes, as always the choice is up to you. Frozen, fresh or not at all. But if you’re reading this the odds are pretty good, you have a desire to take care of your health. A Garden Patch is a wonderful way to do that, all year around.
