The More Links The More Revenue
Quite simply put. The above statement is true.
The more links you have to your web page, the greater chance of revenue being generated from that web page. This is a fundamental rule when it comes to SEO, or Search Engine Optimization. There have been many businesses built around the above statement and the fact is that most of them are completely bogus. There is no quick and easy way of building good links to your web page. It is like everything else, put the work into it and it will happen.
Why not just pay for it?
There are many companies out there that claim they can build you all the links you need in no time flat. Most of them can do that. The problem is that they are not quality links and that the search engines will actually penalize you for using these services. Trust me, I know. I had a couple of sites that I used these services on and while at first the results were spectacular, all of a sudden my sites disappeared from the search engines altogether.
Thinking you can fool the search engines is a big mistake. This is what they do for living and they have a large staff that are far more knowledgeable than you or me when it comes to the types of tricks people try to fool the search engines. The best policy is just do not try. If you do, you will pay for it.
What is the best way to build links then?

This is still the best way to get people to know about your web page. Talk about it. Go on Facebook, Twitter, linked in, etc….
The more you mention it the more it is mentioned by someone else and then someone else mentions it, and someone after that, and so on. The internet community is vast and if you create a page that people like, trust me, it will spread and it will spread fast. There is really no need to pay for all these marketing and link building scams. Yes, the internet is a lot larger these days but the concepts are still the same as they have always been. The more people that like something, the more it is known. It is quite simple.
There is one thing I should mention though. Once you create a web page, either here on SirGo, or anywhere else, make sure you submit that web page to Google. It is very simple. Just copy the web address of your web page and got to Google’s Submit a URL service and enter the URL. You will be amazed with the results. If you have created your web page here on SirGo, you will be even more amazed. Most times it is indexed within a day. Try it out for yourself. Simply create a web page here at SirGo, make sure it has some value and has content, submit it to Google’s service, then the next day, do a search for your title in quotes. Guaranteed, it will show up as long as you had good content. After that, just watch it go up the rankings as you talk about it with your friends and colleagues.
